Two key members of the Summit Retail Solutions leadership team recently represented the firm at the Costco Southeast Charity Classic held May 17, 2018 at Chateau Elan Golf Club in Georgia to support the Atlanta Children’s Hospital.

Chad P., Summit Retail Solutions’ President, and Shad W., the firm’s CFO, took to the links to play on behalf of the company and support this worthy cause. “Philanthropy is a tremendous part of our culture and we seek to give back wherever our operations are located here in the U.S., Mexico, Canada, the U.K., and Asia,” said Chad. “We may be a global operation that partners with Fortune 500 enterprises, but at the end of the day, the communities in which we work are what matter most.”

Chad continued, “We always enjoy attending events such as these because we are able to have fun while raising money for an incredible cause – in this case, the Atlanta Children’s Hospital. It’s important for us to give back to our community because they give to us every day by working with us and our representatives.”

The money raised through the Costco Southeast Charity Classic goes to support equipment purchases, medical research, and family support programs provided by the hospital. “Anyone who has ever had a sick or injured child understands how valuable this type of institution is to the community,” Chad noted. “It’s so vital to a community to have a children’s hospital that people can count on and we were glad to be part of giving back to them.”

In addition to a great day on the course, the tournament itself featured exciting events including silent and live auctions, long-drive and closest-to-the-pin competitions, a hole-in-one contest, a dinner, and raffle prizes. “It’s a truly enjoyable day, yet we never lose sight of why we do it, which is for the kids,” Chad noted.

“We’re also happy to support Costco, one of our main retail partners, in their philanthropic efforts. Over the years, we have built a great relationship with them and do what we can to support them,” he said.
